I developed Crab Compass, an Android mobile app that provides personalized travel recommendations in Maryland based on user budget, season, and interests, targeting first-time visitors. Using Kotlin, I implemented a clean, modern user interface following the MVC (Model–View–Controller) architecture. The app integrates Firebase for a real-time, crowd-sourced database to track features such as “Like” counts, Shared Preferences for persistent user settings, and Google Maps to display destination locations, delivering an interactive and user-friendly experience.
